The first ever BattleWheels test tournament took place this week. It was a sort of introductory tournament, as most of the participants were encountering the game for the first time. So first there was an introduction to the game and a quick explanation of the rules. Then the players were divided into pairs and, with the help of instructors who were on hand throughout the tournament for possible clarification of the rules, they tried to fight their way through the tournament as far as possible. In total, 11 battles were played in about 3 hours.
All participants left with a smile on their faces and some even demanded a repeat of the event on the spot. At the same time, we received feedback, based on which the rules will be adjusted. But the concept of the whole game withstood the test!
The success of the event has encouraged us to continue our work and we hope to be able to repeat the tournament soon.
